connecting 4future management AG to Virtual Data Center and Backup
Because of the high storage performance and consistent data storage in Switzerland, 4future management AG, based in Lucerne, chose cloud services from Netstream.
Challenge
The 4future management team offers its customers innovative software that supports companies in all aspects of recruitment. The software requires fast storage performance, as this is the only way to continue ensuring comprehensive support of the highest quality. Each of the company’s eight sites to date had its own local server, and further sites were planned. 4future management AG therefore decided to store all data applications on a central server. A new solution was to be found for this.
The performance of Netstream’s cloud solution convinced us so much that we moved not only our application to the cloud, as originally planned, but our entire IT environment.
Approach
After researching online, 4future management AG found its way to Netstream’s cloud solution sales. The sales team contacted Reto Müri, CIO of 4future management AG, directly to discuss the company’s requirements with him. Shortly afterwards, a second meeting was held with Netstream’s technical cloud experts, at which a free “proof of concept” was also agreed. After the test was completed successfully, 4future management AG opted for Netstream’s solution.
Solution
With Netstream’s Virtual Data Center (VDC), 4future management AG chose a flexible, scalable and highly available cloud infrastructure. It could be seamlessly integrated into the existing on-premises infrastructure. To ensure maximum data protection, 4future management AG also opted for a backup & recovery solution.
