Netstream 's own data centers

Our infrastructure is not an off-the-shelf product, but designed with heart.

Netstream operates four data center locations in Switzerland. Two of them are our own - with full control down to rack level, physically secured and operated by our engineering team. The infrastructure is located in Dübendorf, supplemented by geo-redundant capacities at Interxion and Equinix.

By distributing our infrastructure across several Swiss locations, we can also reliably map complex security, redundancy and architecture requirements.

To the Cloud solutions

At the company's own site in Dübendorf , there are two independent and separate data centers covering a total of 500 square meters. 

With the data center, an availability is achieved, as one is used to from Tier 3 data centers, and this with a projected PUE level of 1.23.

Since 2018, the entire data center and Netstream 's office space have been powered 100% by solar energy. Should the power supply ever fail, a redundant uninterruptible power supply system (UPS) provides the necessary power. In an emergency, an additional power generator acts as a redundantly operated emergency power system (EPS).

Highly sensitive aspirating smoke detectors detect even the smallest glow of electronic components and can thus be prevented at an early stage. In addition, an integrated fire control matrix was implemented to ensure safety even in the event of a fire.

These and many other measures ensure the security of the Netstream Data Center.

Our reception system enables stable, low-latency processing of TV and raw signals.

Our multi-redundant signal reception system processes TV and radio signals from all over the world - directly at Netstream. Whether SAT, IP or DVB-T: we convert raw signals precisely and reliably into high-quality streams, tailored to your requirements. Thanks to our own infrastructure, we retain full control over quality, latency and availability - without any dependencies on third-party providers.
