In the early 2000s, the world experienced a technological revolution with the advent of broadband internet. This opened up a world of new possibilities. The Netstream quickly realized that this offered great potential for the TV industry and developed an innovative offering. In 2004, the time had come: ADSL.TV saw the light of day.
The vision behind the platform
ADSL.TV offered users the opportunity to receive live TV via an ADSL connection for the first time. The resulting flexibility and independence from traditional cable or satellite television opened up a whole new world. Favorite shows and channels could now be streamed directly via the Internet—a new version of TV consumption was born.
20 years of innovation and progress
With the advancement of technology and increasing user demands, ADSL.TV was further developed into nello.tv. Nello.tv stood for innovation, user-friendliness, and a wide selection of content. However, we quickly realized that we wanted to make our solution available to others as well. Therefore, we developed a white label TV platform from nello, which allowed business customers to easily offer their own TV product to their end customers. Shortly thereafter, major customers such as Orange, Sunrise, and Teleboy also came to rely on our expertise.
The TV platform today
ADSL.TV and later nello.tv provided us with many insights into the world of TV consumption and helped us develop and continuously improve our TV as a Service product. Today, we focus on our partners who use the platform for their end customers. But we are not resting on our laurels. Right now, our team is working on further developing our solution.
