Netstream AG stands for sustainable corporate management. The harmony between people, technology and nature forms the core of its vision.
But what does sustainability look like in the daily business of an IT company? The non-profit organization Labdoo is committed to providing children and young people worldwide with access to IT and education through donated hardware, thus reducing the "digital divide". With this commitment, Labdoo contributes to 8 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals (2030 Agenda).
Netstream has been supporting Labdoo with donations since 2018. More than 50 device components have since been given to support educational projects. It was always clear to the company that the devices no longer in use should not be scrapped, but returned to the cycle of use. The suitable partner was finally found in Labdoo. For Alexis Caceda, Managing Director of Netstream, this was a stroke of luck: "From our point of view, this results in a win-win situation in many respects. With the donations, we support the education of socially disadvantaged children and young people and thus improve their future opportunities. At the same time, we have been able to help save around 20 tons of greenhouse gases so far by reusing the equipment. As a company, it is very important to us to fulfill our social responsibility so that future generations can also enjoy our planet."
You too can support Labdoo with a hardware donation.
