Netstream AG stands for sustainable corporate management. The harmony between people, technology and nature forms the core of its vision.
But what does sustainability look like in the daily businessof an IT company? The non-profit organization Labdoo works worldwide to provide children and young people with access to IT and education through donated hardware, thereby reducing the digital divide. With this commitment, agcontributes to 8 of the 17 United Nations Sustainable Development Goals ( Agto 2030).
Netstream has been supporting Labdoo with donations since 2018. Over 50 device components have been donated since then to support educational projects. For the company, it was always clear that the no-longer-used devices should not be scrapped, but rather reintroduced into the cycle of use. They finally found the ideal partner in Labdoo. For Alexis Caceda, CEO of Netstream, it was a stroke of luck: "From our perspective, this creates a win-win situation in many respects. With the donations, we support the education of socially disadvantaged children and young people, thus improving their future prospects. At the same time, by reusing the devices, we have been able to help save around 20 tons of greenhouse gases so far. As a company, it is very important to us to fulfill our social responsibility so that future generations can also enjoy our planet."
You too can support Labdoo with a hardware donation.
