Netstream own data centers

Our infrastructure is not an off-the-shelf product, but designed with heart.

Netstream operates four data center locations in Switzerland. Two of these are our own – with full control down to the rack level, physically secured, and operated by our own engineering team. The infrastructure is located in Dübendorf, supplemented by geo-redundant capacity at Interxion and Equinix.

Distributing our infrastructure across multiple Swiss locations allows us to reliably meet even complex requirements for security, redundancy, and architecture.

Cloud solutions

At the company's own site in Dübendorf, there are two independent and separate data centers covering a total of 500 square meters. 

The data center achieves an availability comparable to that of Tier 3 data centers, with a projected PUE level of 1.23.

Since 2018, Netstream 's entire data center and office space have been powered 100% by solar energy. Should the power supply fail, a redundant uninterruptibleagsupply (UPS) ensures the necessary power. An additional generator serves as a redundant backupagsupply in case of emergency.

Highly sensitive aspirating smoke detectors detect even the slightest glimmer of electronic components, allowing for early intervention. Additionally, an integrated fire alarm control matrix has been implemented to ensure safety even in the event of a fire.

These and many other measures ensure the security of the Netstream Data Center.
