Inpuls AG uses a comprehensive Swiss public Cloud solution from Netstream and was thus able to replace its own on-premises environment.
Challenge
As is still often the case with small businesses, Inpuls AG 's servers were tucked away in a corner of the office. Even basic security measures like air conditioning or failover protection were lacking. Redundancy (apart from a RAID system) was completely absent. Inpuls's end customers had to expect lengthy downtimes (often a fullag). Such outages resulted in additional costs for Inpuls in the form of repairs and compensation claims.
The company finally decided to no longeragthe shortcomings of its own infrastructure and to evaluate a Cloudsolution that better meets its needs.

Inpuls AG has been a loyal Netstreamcustomer for many years. Having been very satisfied with their ISDN internet connection, Inpuls naturally considered Netstream as Cloudprovider as well. At a partner event, Inpuls met the Cloudteam and learned about the new solutions, deciding to test them. Once it was clear that the Cloudsolution met their high standards, the first three servers (web hosting, mail hosting, andcloud) were put into operation.
Solution
Inpuls utilizes a combination of the Netstream Public Cloud (Virtual Data Center), the Backup & Recovery Add-on, and S3 Object ag. This allowed them to decommission their on-premises environment, minimize downtime, and reduce costs. This move enables Inpuls to concentrate on its core business of IT services and focus on its core expertise.
All web hosting, as well as the Nextcloudcloud Inpuls' end customers, runs in the Netstream Cloud. Additionally, end-customer server infrastructures also run in the Netstream Cloud (VDC).
