Anyone who has ever applied for a job at a small or large company is familiar with boilerplate responses, the classic phrases in emails, and the sometimes very stiff and reserved demeanor.ag you like this rather cool and impersonal style of interpersonal communication, you'll find it in many places, but not at Netstream.
Back to the beginning
I came across Netstream by chance, as I drove past their office Netstream on my daily commute. I researched the company and applied for a position in technical support for the first time. Unfortunately, without success.
My second application for the same position also ended in failure. However, the company's image stuck with me, so I tried a third time.
All good things come in threes – I was invited to a meeting!
I've had the opportunity to observe several job interviews at other companies, both as an applicant and "from the other side of the table." What I hadn't expected, however, was such a relaxed and friendly conversation. Any nervousness I felt quickly vanished thanks to the open manner of Eva (HR) and Stefano (the supervisor). It soon became clear that there would be a follow-up interview, giving me the chance to gain a deeper understanding of the role.
I spent aag getting a taste Netstream. I was immediately introduced to the team members and given the opportunity to explore the office and get a feel for the atmosphere. It wasn't a dry presentation of facts that can also be found in the job description, but rather an open discussion about all the advantages and the few disadvantages of the position.
During theagI was taken directly to a meeting where we discussed our opinions on the future color concept for Netstream 's new brand identity. There was no skeptical eyeing as to who I mightag. I was handed three adhesive dots and immediately allowed to participate. I felt comfortable from the very beginning.
The email of theag
The following dayag I received an email from Leandra (HR) with the subject line "Feedback." My heart skipped a beat, because my first thought was: "Please, not another standardized email with a negative response, like I've experienced so many times before." However, the text told me the complete opposite—no clichés, no boilerplate text
"We would love to welcome you to our team 🙂! You have completely convinced everyone, and we would be truly delighted if you would join us."
I screamed with joy!
